From a recent thread:

BUT...if at least some conservatives can agree that, in the name of slowing down the spread of incurable diseases, it's best - and cost-effective - to provide FREE condoms to the public, you'd think they'd realize that it's just as important to fund safe, effective female contraception for the poor. Or at least BC should be cheaper.

So, today, from Reuters:

WASHINGTON(Reuters) - U.S. President Joe Biden on Friday will sign an executive order designed to protect and expand access to contraception, after a Supreme Court ruling last year overturning the constitutional right to abortion raised fears that birth control could also face restrictions.

Biden senior adviser Jen Klein told reporters that the order will increase ways for women to access contraception and lower out-of-pocket costs.

Klein said the order directs federal departments to consider requiring private insurers to offer expanded contraception options under the Affordable Care Act such as by covering more than one product and streamlining the process for obtaining care.

Biden's order comes as reproductive rights advocates say rising barriers are leaving millions of women without easy access to contraception...

Conservatives might trade contraception funding for gun rights, but they aren't going to put contraception on the negotiating table by itself like that; and Women's March has made it clear they won't trade away gun control. It's just conceivable they might trade contraception funding for childcare cuts, but anti-choice red states are moving in the opposite direction, boosting childcare funds, so I doubt it.
NO, the solutions are not federal, they are local and ultimately Czechoslovakian and based on political migration. we must vote with our feet, move to towns that fund abortions, then vote there to increase that funding.
City abortion funding saves city school tax, so much so that cities can then fund country abortions as well, all without answering to country voters.
In this way, my guess is that 10 cities can cover the USA and 25 can cover the world.
